Master of Library Science and Information Science is a one year professional course. Inspite of desktop availability of information, library still remains an indispensible resource of information especially for academic and research institutions. However, now the library and information science has moved beyond hard bound and paperbacks to digitization and inclusion of digital resources as an essential part of the library. Accordingly, the M.Lib. curriculum has been designed to include both conventional and updated knowledge that helps the students to develop themselves professionally and gain confidence in their art.
