M.A (Master Of Arts) OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION
Master of Arts (MA) is a two year (4 semesters) post graduate course in which one has the chance to explore the chosen subject in great depth and be encouraged to think critically and independently. A master’s degree takes more willpower and fortitude than a bachelor’s degree because the individual needs to conduct extensive research in the subject.
The program includes in depth conceptual knowledge with practical courses (wherever applicable). The knowledge is imparted not only through class room teaching but also includes interaction with experts in form of guest lectures, seminars etc. and internship/ dissertation for extended applied knowledge.
- The curriculum has been revamped and designed as per NEP-2020 as per FYUP credit framework.
- The curriculum is designed to award BA (Hons with Research) after the end of four years with research work, but at the same time offers multi-entry and exit options too.
- The program includes skill development, ability enhancement, value added courses and mandatory internship/ dissertation aspect that helps to gain thorough knowledge of the subject along with holistic development of the student.
